Samuels Funeral Home - Manning, SC Obituary announcement - Posted by Mable Canty 2015-03-01 18:52:32 Initially, I was sad to learn of her passing, but as I think back over her life, I can only rejoice for having had a more enriched life myself because of Mrs. Broughton. She was a trooper in the field of education. She was a soldier to have stood the test of time with physical and mental capacity for so long. Loved and cherished by so many, we salute her to a victorious resting place.

We'll miss her dearly for sure; however, we have to let her go to a most-deserved rest. We commend her spirit to God and will let her legacy live on within our hearts.

Mable Johnson Canty
Student and Friend
