Nobody's ever happy when writing about a funeral home. I do believe that heritage funeral did a good job though. I had imagined people who make a business out of the dead to be just as cold as you would expect. To my surprise, they were just about as understanding and sympathetic as a good friend would be.

I easily found myself trusting them with helping to arrange my mother's funeral. It was at first difficult trusting them with my mother's body, but at the viewing she had such a somber face. The man who did her make-up did a very good job of it.

The interior for the establishment was well done as well. It had a cozy feel to it that made me feel comfortable. The music was equally as soothing. The pianos playing were a bit dramatic, but at times complimented the homey feel of the furniture design.

All in all not your grandest place to pick but that wasn't the point for me. I wanted a modest funeral where friends and family could gather to mourn and pay respects to the memory of my mother and the people at Heritage really came through for me.
