Comment on Crawford Memorials - Duluth, MN written by: Alan J. 12/09/2015 2:45PM Hello, I am doing research on my grandmother, Mrs. Minnie Holmes who died April 25, 1920 at Nopeming Sanatorium in Duluth. The certificate of death noted Crawford Funeral of Duluth performed the burial on May 1, 1920 with burial at Greenwood Cemetery. She had lived in Virginia Mn but as I spoke to the folks at Greenwood Cemetery, Virginia, they have no record of her burial. Her husband was buried there several years later. Their old records seem to show Crawford didn't provide services in the years before or after her death. The caretaker did tell me of a Greenwood Cemetery in Superior WI. Is that a possibility?

Can you shed any light on this matter? My mother was a young girl when Minnie past and never knew where she was buried. Minnie's Death Certificate is #14214.

Any help you provide will be greatly appreciated.
