Houser-Millard Funeral - Jefferson City, MO Jack Steppelman Obituary announcement - Posted by Catherine Stout 2014-12-31 22:33:00 Mr. Steppelman was a great asset to the Jefferson City community. I have always looked forward to his Christmas decorations, which became more extravagant, year after year.
He was a great business man, bringing fine clothing to Jefferson City. He had a way of making his shoppers feel so special while browsing in his store.
He was a devoted husband and father, who raised two beautiful daughters.
Our community is a better place thanks to his ideas, and his generosity.
My condolences to his family and close friends. He is a legend in Jefferson City. We will never forget him. I would like to believe that someone will pick up where he left off and keep his Christmas Winter Wonderland as a tribute to his legacy.
My heart goes out especially to Stacia and Stephanie. I am so sorry for your loss. It seems like he may have held on just to get through one more Christmas with his loved ones, and for the sake of our community. May the peace of the Lord be with you during this sad time.
