Hello. Barbara Custer, a volunteer at Find A Grave, took a photo for me of a gravesite at Rising Star, and when I inquired about who might help me locate graves for George Wiley Tune, or it might be listed under Wiley T. Tune, and his wife Martha Ann Spence Tune, she suggested that I check with Denise at the funeral home. Yours is the only one I found listed in Rising Star, so I am checking to see if you possibly have records of graves in the Rising Star Cemetery that go back into the 1800's.
George Wiley T. Tune was born in 1823 and died in 1890 in Rising Star, Texas. His wife Martha Ann Spence Tune was born in 1825 and died in 1903 in Rising Star.
Any assistance you could give me would be appreciated. I live in Washington state, so the distance keeps me from actually visiting Rising Star and searching for myself.
Sincerely,
Sharon Jones

I am doing genealogy. A few years ago, your funeral home sent me a funeral record for my cousin William Archie Taylor. He was killed in an auto accident in Rising Star, Texas on October 29, 1929. In the same vehicle was a "Miss White" who was also killed. A newspaper article says she was the daughter ot J.B. White, but does not give her first name. Is there any way you can help me to find out what her name was?
Thank you so very much.
Sherry
