Maxey Funeral Home - Paris, TX Prezell Mims Obituary announcement - Posted by Renita Weed 2013-08-01 14:05:36 I bid Farewell to a very good man, Prezell Mims. I have known Pete for over 24 years and in all that time I have never heard him say a cross or mean word to anyone. I realize that I did not see him everyday, however during the entire time I knew him, again never did I hear him direct anything cross or negative conversations towards anyone. I met Pete through a person I can truly call my best friend, his wife Sonya Mims. Both of them have such large hearts, meaning they were made for each other. God truly sent them both to my life and it has made me a much better person for knowing the both.

I will carry them both in my heart as long as I live and will truly miss Pete's main comment "Okay, okay" I know that Pete is in God's kingdom where he belongs and until we meet again I want to hope that he knows he was truly loved by all.

Thank you Pete for being a part of my life.
