I met her as a VMFA docent. We trained together and often had lunch afterwards. A mutual friend, Anne Perkins, told me she was a lovely artist. I went to their Fan home to see...And shortly after that I was able to get her into Uptown Gallery. She was a great member and we all enjoyed having her among us and sharing her art. This was the period I got to know your Dad. Such a lovely man! I greived when he had his liver transplant and shortly after that they moved. I never got their address, so wasn't able to keep up with them. I was sad to hear your Dad didn't live long after that and know it was so hard on your Mom. I gather her mind wasn't wonderful in the end...I am so sorry and join our fellow docents and Uptown Gallery artists in sending our sympathy. Know she is in a better place and would cheer you three on to have a happy and creative life as would your Dad, woh were very proud of you. Best wishes, Emma Lou
