Comment on Freeman Funeral Home - Chapmanville, WV written by: Angel A. 04/22/2011 11:29AM Honestly so impressed with this funeral home. They handled my grandfather's funeral this week. I don't have a lot of experience with funeral homes, but they were so nice! They even provided drinks and snacks, plus they have a big fellowship room with toys for children and such. The funeral home in Florida that my family generally uses has vending machines if you want anything to eat/drink! I couldn't believe it. They were just so friendly and accommodating.

The most impressive thing is at the end of the graveside service they said they had something for the survivors. They gave each of my grandfather's children and his siblings a folder that included a laminated picture of him, a laminated letter size decorated copy of the poem from his little info pamphlet given at the funeral, a photocopy of every page in the guest book, a color photocopy of all the cards from the flowers and gifts, and something else. On top of that, they gave each of his children and siblings a Christmas ornament with his picture on it! Then to each of the grandchildren, they gave us a laminated copy of the obituary with a color photo of him that was made into a very nice bookmark. On the other side was a copy of the above mentioned poem.

If you ever have a need to use a funeral home in the Chapmanville/Logan area, I highly recommend them!
